Even though as of 2018, only 1% of Bitcoin transactions were used for criminal activity, and most criminals prefer to use dollars for criminal activity, law enforcement still has to deal with that 1% of of criminal activity. That is why it is a top priority of the FBBA to build good relations with the law enforcement community so that they can learn from our members how these technologies work and how cryptocurrency and blockchain are being used for good.
